Mowgli Street Food Bold Street

Amazing! I don’t normally use that word when I’m reviewing meals for I’ve eaten. I ate there in early evening last Thursday. While the street and other restaurants weren’t crowded, Mowgli’s was full and I had to eat at the window bar. There are 4 seats there and two were taken. My only complaint about my experience at Mowgli’s is related to eating at this space. I had no place to put my coat. Sitting on a bar type chair, with my coat on my lap and a napkin to keep my lap and the coat clean was a bit of a balancing act. I eventually used the seat next to me for my coat, but that seat should be for a customer. There is a small nook on other end of the this bar area where a few hooks could be added to improve the customer experience. My food and server were great! The timing of the food and presentation were perfect. If someone forced me, I would say that the Temple Dahl was my favorite, but it was all so delicious. Great combination of flavors that made me want to keep eating long past being full. My meal was Mother Butter Chicken, Temple Dahl, Roti, and Basmati Rice. I had the Yoghurt Chat Bombs as an appetizer. The waiter suggested them and he was spot on! They are delicate so you must place the whole thing in your mouth at one time, no little bite here. What an explosion in my mouth. At first I thought it was too spicy hot, but the coolness of the yogurt perfectly balanced the heat. The flavor combination in this appetizer is perfection! Make sure you reserve a table if you want to eat here, and you want to eat here!!

My daughter and I had a beautiful lunch here - my daughter who is coeliac had plenty of choice and we throughly enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely return in the future.

Perfect for an anytime meal - tasty food and as street food style you can try lots of different flavours without filling up. A tapas style Indian restaurant in effect - delicious - the lamb curry is a favourite - lush.

Amazing! All of the staff were so kind and helpful. We had the yogurt chat bombs and enjoyed them so much that we ordered another round 100% would recommend, can't rate it enough!

Lovely food and staff. It was mine and my husband's first visit and we were recommended the Chat Bombs by our server Effie. What a dish?! We absolutely loved everything we ordered (most of them recommendations by our server who was spotless). Incredible service.

We got the street food sharer and it was spectacular. Food was absolutely delicious, zero notes. What made it great was the service. We were served by Andy and he was great, really attentive, excited about the food, made our experience even better & more enjoyable. We visited during Liverpool restaurant week so got a great deal but we will be back to get the same thing at full price because it was great value for money!!!!

Visited Mowgli in Liverpool and honestly? 10/10 would eat my way through that chef’s choice sharer menu all over again. Every dish was bursting with flavour, the perfect mix of spice, comfort, and street food magic. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and clearly love what they do, which made the whole experience even better. We didn’t have to make a single decision (bless you, chef’s choice), and still ended up with a feast. It’s not just dinner, it’s a whole vibe. If you're in Liverpool and want Indian food that feels fresh, fun, and full of soul, Mowgli’s your place.

This was my first visit to Mowgli. The food was delicious. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful with any questions we had. I definitely recommend a visit.
